Sponsorship Opportunties

United Way is grateful to receive sponsorships from businesses and corporations. Generous donations from individuals and the local business community ensure that more funds are available to be directed back out into the community to help our friends and neighbors. View our sponsorship brochure to learn how your business can become a sponsor.

We are fortunate to receive in-kind gifts from local merchants. In-kind gifts are used as incentives for volunteers from a variety of local businesses. They allow us to keep our costs down for our fundraising campaign. Our expense ratios are minimal (13%), far exceeding the standards of the Better Business Bureau (35%). This ensures that the greatest possible percentage of donated dollars reaches the causes directly. Mobilizing a strong volunteer corps and utilizing in-kind donations makes this possible.

We encourage people to support the following generous merchants and businesses that support our community:

  • Bed Bath & Beyond – Newburgh
  • Cumulus – Poughkeepsie
  • The Times Herald-Record – Middletown
  • Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets – Central Valley
