Orange County United Way is a member of the Hudson Valley CA$H Coalition (Creating Assets Savings and Hope), which is looking for volunteers to help with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Volunteers are need as greeters and tax preparers at the many Orange County VITA sites. No experience is necessary. Free training is provided. Volunteers will be helping low income residents to get their taxes prepared for free.

Women’s Leadership Fund

The Orange County Women’s Leadership Fund (WLF) is an initiative that promotes the independence, growth, and self-determination of women and girls. The WLF supports programs that help women and girls obtain financial self-reliance.

Volunteers are needed for the following WLF committees:

  • Fundraising
  • Allocations
  • Marketing
  • Member Relations
  • Special Events
  • Resource Development
